Track Overview

Sharon Speedway opened in 1929 and is one of the oldest continuously operating dirt tracks in the United States, giving it a deep historical presence in Ohio racing. The track is co owned by the Blaney family, including NASCAR driver Dave Blaney, who has helped modernize the facility while preserving its traditional character. The three eighths mile oval is known for its smooth surface and competitive racing that attracts strong fields of drivers across multiple divisions. Over the years, Sharon has hosted major touring series including the World of Outlaws Late Models and the All Star Circuit of Champions. The facility has undergone numerous improvements including upgraded grandstands, lighting, and pit areas, making it one of the most polished dirt tracks in the region.
