This species has a slender body capable of changing from green to brown. Males display a pink throat fan.

It occurs in scattered introduced populations in southern Ohio.

It is arboreal and often found on shrubs fences and buildings. It is sensitive to cold temperatures. It is most active in hot sunny weather.

Breeding occurs in summer and females lay single eggs repeatedly.

The population is small and unstable.

It is not native and persists only in warm microhabitats.
