Identification
This species has a bright green body and a slender form adapted for climbing. Its coloration provides excellent camouflage.

It occurs in southern Ohio in brushy riparian habitats.

It is arboreal and spends much time in shrubs and low trees. It is gentle and rarely attempts to bite. It is most active in warm sunny weather.

Breeding occurs in spring and females lay eggs in early summer.

The population is small and localized.
